⚔️ According to Shirshin, it was the command’s unwillingness to consider his remarks that prompted him to make a public post to change management approaches and properly assess the unit’s capabilities.
🛡️ While carrying out missions in the Kursk region and on the border with russia, the commander faced conditions he believed were doomed to failure and threatened unjustified personnel losses. He emphasized that his unit took all possible measures to avoid these losses.
📄 Shirshin noted that he had repeatedly addressed the command with proposals and warnings before, but most appeals were ignored.
⚠️ He stressed that he did not demand the resignation of the top commander nor call for stopping the fight, but only criticized systemic problems in the army.
👥 The response to his statement included accusations and calls to “support the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces” and “not air dirty laundry” from individuals loyal to the military elite.
🔥 Shirshin also praised his battalion for courage and dedication: the fighters held the defense in the toughest conditions, fulfilled combat missions, risked their lives, and did everything for victory.
🆘 Recently, according to the commander, he felt they were being “erased,” and the inability to reach the command forced him to speak publicly.
💪 He added that despite everything, the fighters are not abandoning their positions and continue to carry out tasks under his leadership.
🤝 In conclusion, Shirshin reported that there are already attempts to establish communication with the General Staff and hopes for constructive dialogue and real solutions rather than distractions from the problems.
