More than half of surveyed adult residents of Ukraine (54.9%) have a positive attitude toward the idea of creating a national unity coalition and a “National Salvation Government” representing a broad alliance of patriotic forces inside and outside parliament. These results were shown by a survey conducted by the research company “Sociopolis”.

According to the study, 27.3% of respondents expressed a neutral attitude toward the initiative, while only 14.3% evaluated it negatively. Another 3.5% of respondents were undecided.
Support for the creation of a national unity coalition and a National Salvation Government is higher than opposition among supporters of all major political forces included in the study of hypothetical parliamentary election ratings.
At the same time, the highest level of support is observed among supporters of the European Solidarity party, a potential party of Valerii Zaluzhnyi, and the Azov party. A comparatively lower level of support is recorded among supporters of a hypothetical “Volodymyr Zelensky bloc,” although even there positive attitudes outweigh negative ones, with the balance of opinions being the lowest among major political groups.
The results may indicate public expectations for broader consolidation of political forces in Ukraine and increased responsibility of governing elites during a period of national crisis.

The survey was conducted from May 24 to May 29, 2026, using the CATI (Computer Assisted Telephone Interviews) method based on a random sample of mobile phone numbers (with random generation of phone numbers).
A total of 1,002 respondents aged 18 and older were interviewed, excluding residents of temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine.
