In Ukraine, a general mobilization is ongoing, during which men of conscription age receive summonses and can be drafted into the Armed Forces. Individuals who violate military registration rules may be declared “wanted.”

Military lawyer Mykhailo Lobunko of the law firm “Prykhodko & Partners” explained the details of removing the “wanted” status.

This status most often appears due to violations of military registration rules — for example, failing to respond to a summons or not updating personal data in the “Oberih” registry on time.

If the “wanted” status arises mistakenly due to a technical error or delivery of a summons to the wrong address, it is necessary to contact the local recruitment center (TCC). The lawyer notes that in such cases, the TCC can close the case, and the operator will make changes in the registry, after which the “wanted” status will be removed.

Another way to cancel the “wanted” status is by paying an administrative fine through the “Reserve+” app without personally appearing at the TCC or SP. After payment, the TCC sends a request to the National Police to remove the “wanted” status, and the notification appears in the app.

The “wanted” status can also be canceled through court proceedings.

Lobunko warned that closing an administrative case does not provide a postponement from mobilization. Conscripts are advised to regularly check their data in “Reserve+” and have documents confirming their inability to appear at the TCC at the specified time.
