The High Anti-Corruption Court (HACC) approved a plea deal, with the names of the former MP and her husband not being officially disclosed. However, according to journalist Oleh Novikov, the case involves Iryna Kormyshkina (a former MP from “Servant of the People”) and her husband Yuriy.

The Special Anti-Corruption Prosecutor’s Office (SAP) announced the verdict. It was noted that:
Both individuals have been banned from holding positions related to state or local government functions for 2 years.
Kormyshkina is required to transfer 20 million UAH to the state budget.
Both individuals must transfer 2 million UAH for the needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
“At the same time, the court released the mentioned individuals from serving the main punishment of imprisonment with probation, setting a probation period of 2 years. The verdict can be appealed within 30 days from the date of its announcement by filing a complaint to the Appeals Chamber of the HACC,” the message states.
On his part, Novikov reported that before the court’s decision, Kormyshkina and her husband mutually exposed each other’s actions. “They exposed each other,” he said.
