The head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, Kyrylo Budanov, stated that President Volodymyr Zelensky has no connection to the anti-corruption investigations conducted by the National Anti-Corruption Bureau and the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor’s Office.

In an interview with a Lebanese publication, Budanov noted that corruption remains one of the biggest problems capable of undermining the authority of the state, especially during wartime.
He emphasized that he personally supports the efforts of anti-corruption agencies to cleanse the Ukrainian government. At the same time, Budanov stressed that Zelensky “is in no way involved in these investigations” and remains the leader of Ukraine.
