🇺🇦 The World Bank has updated its macroeconomic forecast for Ukraine, taking into account the possible continuation of the full-scale war until the end of 2025. In such a scenario, Ukraine’s economy could grow by 5.2% in 2026 and by 2% in 2025.

🗣️ This was reported by the World Bank’s press service in its new report.
🏗️ The main drivers of growth are expected to be post-war reconstruction, investment in production, and a gradual decline in the intensity of hostilities.
🚢 At the same time, even with positive momentum, full export recovery will remain limited due to global trade instability and overall uncertainty.
💵 According to the World Bank, Ukraine’s total reconstruction needs have already reached $524 billion — nearly three times the country’s GDP last year.
🌍 In the event of escalation or prolonged war, analysts predict economic weakening. At the same time, international assistance remains critically important — especially from the U.S. and the European Union.
