⚡️ According to European Commission spokesperson Guillaume Mercier, the screening process is happening at an unprecedented speed thanks to close cooperation between European Commission experts and Ukrainian partners.

⏩ Mercier emphasized that the pace of the screening, which has been ongoing since June 2024, is the highest in the history of EU enlargement.
🔄 Ukraine is demonstrating steady progress on its path to EU membership. Currently, bilateral screening is taking place across various thematic clusters of EU law.
🚧 However, the opening of this cluster is currently blocked by Hungary, which is making demands regarding the rights of the Hungarian minority in Transcarpathia. Negotiations on this issue are ongoing in the EU Council.
🤝 The European Commission promises to continue providing Ukraine with comprehensive support — technical, political, and financial.
📈 Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal also noted that Ukraine is demonstrating the fastest pace of European integration among all countries that have ever sought to join the EU.
