Ukraine has received the final tranche of financial aid from the United Kingdom — £752 million (approximately $1 billion). The funds will be directed to the security and defense sector. This was reported by the Ministry of Finance of Ukraine.

Finance Minister Serhii Marchenko noted that the United Kingdom’s support remains critically important for Ukraine amid the war.
“I am grateful to the UK government for its consistent and decisive support of Ukraine in countering Russian aggression throughout the fifth year of full-scale war. The provided funding has a targeted purpose and will be used to meet the priority needs of the security and defense sector,” he stressed.
The funds are part of the international G7 initiative — Extraordinary Revenue Acceleration for Ukraine (ERA).
In total, the United Kingdom provided Ukraine with three tranches: the first two, totaling £1.5 billion, were received in March and April 2025, while the current one is the final tranche.
The Ministry of Finance explains that this assistance is part of the $50 billion G7 package. The loan will be repaid using revenues from frozen Russian assets, and the mechanism is designed for 30 years.
