U.S. President Donald Trump officially expelled media personality Tucker Carlson from the MAGA political club after his criticism of joint U.S. and Israeli airstrikes on Iranian territory, reports The Independent.

Carlson called Trump’s decision “absolutely disgusting and evil” and stated that the current armed conflict is conducted solely in Israel’s interest, not for the national security of the United States. According to him, the war does not make America safer or richer.
In response, Trump said that Carlson is no longer a supporter of the “Make America Great Again” (MAGA) movement. The President emphasized that MAGA’s ideology is based on the principle of “America First,” which Carlson allegedly no longer supports.
“He is not a MAGA supporter. And Tucker is actually not smart enough to understand that,” Trump added.
The split between the former allies has already become one of the most high-profile political events in the U.S. Trump stressed that the MAGA movement continues working to save the country despite the changing positions of individual media figures.
