The European Union is discussing the possibility of introducing entry restrictions for Russian citizens who took part in the war against Ukraine. This was stated by the EU High Representative Kaja Kallas, according to the website of the European External Action Service.

According to her, the relevant proposals are planned to be prepared ahead of the European Council meeting in June.

The initiative concerns a possible ban on entry to EU countries for former Russian military personnel who participated in combat operations against Ukraine.
