Republican Senator Lindsey Graham said on Fox News that if repression against protesters in Iran continues, the country’s leadership could be eliminated. According to him, the administration of U.S. President Donald Trump will not leave violence unanswered.

Addressing Iranians, Graham emphasized that the United States supports the protest movement and that “help is already on the way.” He stressed that the current U.S. president will act much more decisively than his predecessors.
Separately, the senator addressed Iranian ayatollahs, stating that if further killings of civilians occur, Donald Trump “will kill you.” According to Graham, Washington will not allow mass violence against people demanding a better life.
The senator also noted that, in his view, serious shifts are taking place in Iran, calling the events the largest process of change in the history of the Middle East, aimed at overthrowing the current regime, which he described as “Nazi.”
