Subianto emphasized that this requires a corresponding decision from the UN Security Council.
“We will continue to serve wherever the world needs protectors. Not just in words, but with ‘boots on the ground.’ If the Security Council and UN General Assembly make a decision, Indonesia is ready to send 20,000 or more of our sons and daughters to establish peace,” the president said.
He added that peacekeepers could be deployed not only to Ukraine, but also to Gaza, Sudan, Libya, and other regions where needed.
