German Foreign Minister Johann Wadephul reported that Germany has delivered nearly all of its available air defense missiles to Ukraine, and its own reserves are effectively depleted.

Wadephul emphasized that the shortage is not a problem for Berlin, as a significant portion of the aid is financed by Germany itself. “Honestly, everything currently coming out of the production lines goes straight to Ukraine. This happens under a mechanism largely funded by Europeans, primarily Germany,” the minister explained.
He also called on other European countries to contribute more to strengthening Ukraine’s air defense, as they also possess relevant systems. On February 16, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky instructed the preparation of additional measures to protect the country, noting that air defense missiles remain a key issue in negotiations with partners.
