According to the 21 Research Centre, 56% of respondents support the “Tisza” party, while “Fidesz” has 37%. At the beginning of March, these figures were 53% and 39% respectively. About 26% of respondents have not yet decided on their choice. The survey was conducted from March 23 to 28 among 1,500 people.
Similar results were shown by a poll from the website 24.hu, where 40% of respondents voted for “Tisza” and 28% for “Fidesz”. Another study by Zavecz Research, involving 1,000 people, showed support for “Tisza” at 51% and “Fidesz” at 38%, while 20% of respondents remained undecided.
Although most polls predict a victory for “Tisza”, the Fidesz party continues to rely on studies that allegedly confirm its advantage. Opponents claim that some of these surveys are conducted by institutes affiliated with the ruling party. At the same time, 21 Research Centre and Zavecz Research are independent of political forces.
