⚡ The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has expanded the scope of the experimental project for signing short-term contracts with the Armed Forces for citizens aged 18-24 to include the National Guard and the State Border Guard Service. This was announced by government representative in the Verkhovna Rada, Taras Melnychuk.

💰 A one-time financial reward for service in combat conditions will be granted to military personnel who have served for at least six months. The payment amount is 1 million hryvnias. This applies to privates, sergeants, and senior ranks of all military formations and special law enforcement units.
🛡 Contracted soldiers will only be assigned to combat positions and must serve in combat zones for at least six months during the one-year contract. The General Staff of the Armed Forces, the National Guard, and the Border Guard Service will independently approve the list of official positions.
🏥 For young soldiers aged 18-25, the medical examination process has been simplified, particularly regarding psychiatric evaluations, to accelerate the contract signing process.
📌 It should be noted that contracts for citizens aged 18-24 are voluntary and are signed for one year with a motivational component.
