Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Oleksandr Syrskyi reported that the corps reform in the Defense Forces continues despite the difficult situation on the front line and is already producing tangible results.

The second stage of the corps reform includes:
Redeployment of brigades directly under corps headquarters so that each corps commands its own troops;
Expansion of corps staffing and scaling up of units, especially unmanned forces;
Reorganization of UAV battalions into regiments in certain corps;
Creation of artillery brigades within corps structures;
Strengthening of the technological component, in particular the use of ground unmanned systems for logistics and evacuation of the wounded, which reduces the burden on personnel and lowers casualties.
Syrskyi noted that during the process of forming the corps, more than 36,000 servicemen were relocated, becoming the backbone of command bodies and corps staffing.
According to him, the transition to a corps system has made it possible to relieve command structures, improve troop controllability, and plan and execute combat missions more effectively, which is already contributing to increased losses among Russian occupiers.
