According to media reports, the right to reservation is also available to employees in the energy, transport, communications, and other strategic sectors. It may also be granted to employees of private companies if the enterprises are officially recognized as critically important for the economy or a region.
For the private sector, additional requirements are in place. In particular, the average salary at the enterprise must be at least UAH 21,617.5. The employee must also be officially employed and have up-to-date data in the state register “Oberih”.
Reservation is temporary and is usually issued for 6 months for enterprise employees. At the same time, for officials of state authorities it may be valid for the entire period of mobilization.
After the term expires, the deferment must be renewed.
It was previously reported that Ukraine changed the rules for submitting documents to obtain a deferment from mobilization. The government updated the procedures to simplify the process and reduce the workload on territorial recruitment centers.
