🕊️ Zelensky emphasized that during the meetings on May 15–16, Ukraine demonstrated readiness for peace, while russia’s actions confirm the need to increase pressure on Moscow.
🚫 The president noted that the Ukrainian delegation maintained negotiations with dignity, rejecting all threats from russia.
🛑 Ukraine insists on a full and unconditional ceasefire, which should be long-term and extendable. The proposal is for 30 days, and the country is ready for this.
🤝 Zelensky also confirmed readiness for a leaders’ meeting to resolve key issues, stressing that Ukraine is not afraid of direct negotiations with russia.
🔄 The most important outcome of the talks in Turkey was the agreement on a prisoner exchange in a 1000-for-1000 format. As of May 19, details are being finalized.
🌍 Foreign Minister Andriy Sybiha and Head of the President’s Office Andriy Yermak reported on contacts with representatives from the USA, France, the UK, Germany, Italy, Poland, and Turkey, coordinating actions almost daily.
📋 Zelensky instructed to establish a permanent expanded national negotiation group for further work.
