🏛️ On August 6, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine approved updated rules for providing assistance to servicemembers who returned from russian captivity. The goal is to make their reintegration process more systematic and effective.
🩺 Key changes include:
- expansion of initial medical examinations and the list of available healthcare services;
- mandatory documentation of injuries sustained in captivity;
- implementation of modern infectious disease prevention measures.
🗣️ Prime Minister Yuliia Svyrydenko emphasized that the support must meet the real needs of the defenders: “The updated rules will contribute to better coordination between government bodies and ensure more effective medical, psychological, and social support.”
💬 “Servicemembers who return from russian captivity must have access to comprehensive state support. We’ve taken into account the experience of the security and defense forces to make the reintegration process more effective and humane,” the Prime Minister added.
