He reminded that it was in Budapest in 1994 that Ukraine had already received guarantees of territorial integrity from the US, Russia, and the United Kingdom by signing the Budapest Memorandum, which never worked.
“Budapest? Not everyone may remember this, but in 1994 Ukraine had already received guarantees of territorial integrity from the US, Russia, and the United Kingdom. In Budapest. Maybe I’m superstitious, but this time I would try to find another place,” Tusk wrote on social media X.
