- Establishing a no-fly zone — initially over western Ukraine to protect civilian infrastructure; he suggests this could be implemented from outside Ukrainian airspace with the participation of European fighter jets, including F-35s.
- Increasing supplies of long-range precision-guided missiles, funded by Europe, with the removal of restrictions on targets and strike depth within Russian territory.
- Full implementation of the entire spectrum of sanctions against Russia — not just threats, but real and consistent measures, supported by Europe.
The commentator adds that these measures would help reduce Russian pressure, allow the Ukrainian Armed Forces and air defense to be repositioned for offensive operations, and create conditions for regaining control over territories. He also warns that success depends on whether Trump maintains his stated position and whether Europe is willing to go all-in on defending Ukrainian cities and providing weapons.
