According to him, a letter addressed to the vice president in the event of an emergency is kept in a drawer of the famous presidential Resolute Desk in the Oval Office.
“There is a letter in the Resolute Desk drawer addressed to the vice president in case something happens,” Gorka said.
He also stated that the U.S. administration has clear protocols for the transfer of power and ensuring the continuity of government.
At the same time, Gorka emphasized that he does not see a serious threat from foreign states, calling Trump a politician with whom other countries seek to maintain working relations.
Fox News also noted that Trump has previously faced security threats, including assassination attempts, which has increased attention to presidential security issues.
