In response to a question about whether Russia shares data with Iran on the positions and movements of U.S. forces, Hegset emphasized that American intelligence controls the entire situation. According to him, U.S. commanders receive complete information, and intelligence determines the accuracy of the data and incorporates it into combat plans.
Hegset noted that U.S. President Donald Trump personally assesses and mitigates all existing risks, allowing the American people to feel secure. “The Commander-in-Chief is well informed about all contacts and responds decisively to any violations, both public and through closed channels,” he emphasized.
In addition, the Pentagon chief stressed that Trump has unique relationships with many world leaders, enabling him to achieve results that are unavailable to other presidents.
