Lithuanian Minister of Culture Ignatas Adomavičius, a representative of the far-right party, could not directly answer a journalist’s question about whose Crimea it is. This was reported by Delfi.

After a pause, the politician stated that it was a “provocative question” unrelated to the activities of the Ministry of Culture: “Let’s not even approach them. There is a line that should not be crossed. These are the questions we should stop at.”
Adomavičius also asked journalists “not to play these games.”
At the same time, he also avoided answering the question of what Ukraine’s victory means to him. The minister said that only Ukrainians themselves can define it: “We cannot understand them as deeply as they do themselves. Just as we, Lithuania, realized our victory when we emerged from occupation, Ukrainians must themselves define what victory means to them. We can only help, but not answer for them.”
