Information has appeared in Russian Telegram channels that the General Staff of the Russian Federation is demanding mobilization to strengthen efforts on the Ukrainian fronts. This was stated by Doctor of Historical Sciences and political scientist Vadym Denysenko.

According to him, the Kremlin is currently testing society’s reaction to such a step.
“Two days ago, there was a leak of information citing the Russian General Staff. Several influential Russian Telegram channels reported that the General Staff of the Russian Federation is demanding mobilization in order to achieve certain breakthroughs on the Ukrainian fronts,” Denysenko noted.
The political scientist emphasized that the only real resource for Russia now is mobilization. No “exotic options” — such as the participation of North Korean soldiers — can significantly affect the situation.
“Yes, they can recruit 5–10 thousand, but these are not the numbers that the Russian army needs now,” he concluded.
