Final approval of the document is expected on October 13 at the meeting of the EU Council on Justice and Home Affairs. After that, the agreement will be ratified within the framework of the EU–Ukraine Association Committee in the trade configuration, following the approval of Ukraine’s position.
Once all procedures are completed, the new trade rules between Ukraine and the European Union will enter into force, opening new opportunities for economic integration and cooperation.
