The agreement establishes a legal framework for involving the Swiss private sector in reconstruction projects in Ukraine. It allows for the financing of goods and services from Swiss companies in priority sectors, promotes investment, and supports the modernization of infrastructure and the economy.
Consultations will continue until November 12, 2025, after which the document will be submitted to parliament for approval. Switzerland encourages its companies to establish a presence in the Ukrainian market and invest in the medium term, while the grant-based financial assistance enables the procurement of goods and services directly from Swiss firms in accordance with public procurement laws.
