🔗 Sandu warned: if the Kremlin manages to establish control over Moldova’s government, the country could become a tool in the war against Ukraine. She emphasized that Ukraine currently remains Moldova’s shield, and Chișinău has a moral duty to prevent the country from being drawn into the war.
📢 “We saw unprecedented interference last year, and this year russia will again try to influence the elections. Its bet is on controlled leadership. This is not only about Moldova, because russia’s target is Ukraine,” Sandu stressed.
🛡 According to her, if Moldova falls under moscow’s influence, the 1,200-kilometer border with Ukraine could turn from safe to threatening. This would create a danger not only for Ukraine but also for Moldova itself.
🔒 Sandu emphasized that for the safety of Moldovan citizens and regional stability, it is necessary to prevent the country from being drawn into the war and to stop any attempts at external interference.
