More than half of the surveyed Americans believe that President Donald Trump may launch a ground operation in Iran, yet only 7% of respondents support this idea. This is according to a Reuters/Ipsos poll.

65% of respondents believe that Trump will order troops into Iran to conduct ground operations, but only a small portion of the population supports such actions.
The president’s overall approval rating remained almost unchanged – at 40%, which is one percentage point higher than after the start of the US-Israeli operation against Iran on February 28.
The survey included 1,545 adult US citizens, with a margin of error of about 3 percentage points.
