At the first meeting of the Peace Council of U.S. President Donald Trump, dedicated to the situation in the Gaza Strip, representatives of more than 20 countries around the world will take part.

This was stated during a briefing by White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt. According to her, such a number of participants indicates significant international interest in Washington’s initiative.
She noted that the full list of countries will be announced later.
It is expected that during the meeting, Donald Trump will announce commitments by participating countries to provide more than $5 billion for reconstruction and humanitarian needs in the Gaza Strip.
It is also planned to deploy thousands of military personnel and law enforcement officers to form international stabilization forces and a police mission in the enclave.
