🏥 Kellogg visited a military hospital in Irpin, where he met with injured Ukrainian soldiers. In his social media comment on X (Twitter), he described the meeting as emotional and emphasized the importance of ending the war.
💬 “That’s why President Trump is absolutely right about ending this war. The killings must stop,” Kellogg wrote.
🔹 During a conversation with the soldiers, one of the injured asked whether Russia could be trusted in negotiations. Kellogg responded that every war ends with negotiations, and even final victory on the battlefield requires diplomatic solutions.
🤝 “Can you trust those who are next to you and be sure that they are with you? It’s like a deeper question: are you with us? And the answer is: yes, we are with you,” said the Special Representative.
🌍 As reported by Sky News, Kellogg’s position sharply contrasts with Donald Trump’s statements on the war in Ukraine. The U.S. Special Representative emphasized that the main goal of any agreement with Russia should be to prevent a new conflict in the future.
