“Finland does not seek the deployment of nuclear weapons on its territory, and NATO has no such plans,” he emphasized.
At the same time, Orpo expressed interest in French President Emmanuel Macron’s initiative to extend the French nuclear umbrella to all European countries. “We would like to learn more, as there is a need to strengthen European deterrence,” the prime minister added.
