The 79-year-old leader, however, assures that he is fully functional and has no serious illnesses, citing medical examination results and his active work schedule.
According to Trump, he takes 325 mg of aspirin daily for cardiovascular disease prevention, which exceeds the standard low dose. As a result, bruises and cuts appear on his hands, which he conceals with makeup.
He has also been diagnosed with superficial chronic venous insufficiency, for which his doctor recommended wearing compression socks, but the president declined. Hearing problems occur only in noisy environments, although those around him note that people have to raise their voices when speaking to him.
In October, Trump underwent a CT scan, which showed no abnormalities. Doctor Sean Barbabella emphasized that the president is in exceptional health and fully capable of performing his duties.
