Russia supplies the largest volume of oil since the start of the full-scale invasion of Ukraine, as large-scale Ukrainian Armed Forces strikes on oil refineries are pushing additional crude supplies onto the global market. This is reported by Bloomberg.

Since the beginning of the year, Moscow’s average supplies have amounted to about 3.46 million barrels per day. This is 120,000 barrels more than in 2025 and above the annual average since 2022.
After an initial decline caused by strikes on key export facilities in the Black and Baltic Seas, flows have recovered. Ukrainian attacks on oil refineries peaked in May, reducing refining volumes to a 16-year low and forcing Moscow to restrict exports of aviation fuel and earlier gasoline. As a result, volumes of crude oil available for export increased.
Average daily shipments over the four weeks to May 31 amounted to approximately 3.64 million barrels.
India has become a key market for Russian exports after European countries stopped purchasing. Imports rose from almost zero to about 2 million barrels per day, but later fell by half after U.S. sanctions. At the same time, the situation changed again following U.S. strikes on Iran.
The volume of Russian oil at sea continues to grow, reaching 124 million barrels — about 25% above mid-April lows.
Meanwhile, supplies to Turkey over the last four weeks fell to about 30,000 barrels per day — the lowest level since 2022. Flows to Syria remain at about 40,000 barrels per day.
