According to one MP, the government is used to disregarding the parliament and receiving instructions directly from the President’s Office. “But the time has come when they have to change this patrician attitude toward the plebs and talk to us,” he said, commenting on the failed votes in the Rada on government initiatives, including tax changes for individual entrepreneurs and the abolition of the duty-free limit on parcels.
The article emphasizes that tension in the relationship between parliament and government has been ongoing for several months, but during this time there has been no joint meeting of the “Servant of the People” faction with top government officials.
