Ukolov reminded that the attack on the logistics center occurred on February 7. He noted that the fire was finally extinguished only over the weekend.
“It has only now become known about the massive scale of the fire at the Roshen logistics center near Yahotyn — the fire was finally extinguished only this past weekend. The attack itself occurred on February 7, meaning the fire burned for more than eight days. It’s hard to believe that so much damage was caused by a single Shahed rocket!” he said.
Recall that in the city of Yahotyn, Kyiv region, a fire broke out in warehouse facilities following a nighttime attack by Russian drones on February 7. Member of Parliament from the “European Solidarity” party, Oleksiy Honcharenko, stated that these were warehouses of the Roshen factory. The city hosts the company’s logistics center.
Later, Ukraine’s fifth President, Petro Poroshenko, reacted to the massive Russian attacks on Ukraine, stating that Russia targets civilian infrastructure in an attempt to break the Ukrainian people. He emphasized that the purpose of the attacks is to exert psychological and economic pressure on society. Poroshenko noted that during the nighttime attack, Russia struck civilian infrastructure rather than military targets.
