People’s Deputy from the “European Solidarity” faction Sofia Fedyna, during a speech in parliament, voiced the faction’s position regarding the Legislative Work Plan of the Verkhovna Rada for 2026 and the session agenda. She noted that the mono-majority is withdrawing from solving the country’s key problems, and that the issues of the army and energy are not a priority for the “Servants.”

“The legislative work plan of the Verkhovna Rada is not just a simple list of documents where you will press or not press a button, without even knowing what is written there. It is evidence of whether the Verkhovna Rada today, in such a difficult time for Ukraine, is capable of being an institution of security and guaranteeing a future for our citizens. Or whether you remain a spineless, cynical ‘green button’ ready to serve anyone and anything for a certain appropriate payoff. The point is that today parliament must provide answers to the questions that are the most painful for the Ukrainian state,” Fedyna noted.

“But you are not capable of including in the legislative work plan, in the agenda, issues regarding the urgent resolution of the critical situation in the energy system of cities, thereby covering up ‘Mindich-gates.’ You cannot include in the legislative work plan an appeal of the Verkhovna Rada to organizations, parliaments, and governments regarding the impossibility of holding any elections during martial law. You do not want to consider such matters as the early termination of the powers of a temporary investigative commission of the Verkhovna Rada named after one deputy from one faction, which interfere with the Minsk agreements, because they need to somehow pressure the SAPO and NABU,” Sofia Fedyna noted.

“The Minsk agreements at one time stopped the bloody slaughter and gave Ukraine the opportunity to hold on and build up the army and its potential. And where are your Minsk agreements?” Fedyna asked indignantly.

“Shouldn’t parliament play a key role in ensuring that traitors and thieves who profit from blood are brought to justice? But you were afraid to act as representatives of the citizens of Ukraine. You covered up and are now covering up members of the government who are implicated in Mindich-gate. And Pronin, whom they cannot summon to the TSC and who cannot come to the Verkhovna Rada because he is in Tanzanias. Here one person said that Pronin has nothing to do with security and defense. Then who failed to build fortifications in Pokrovsk? Who embezzled this money? The same Pronin with whom all this is associated. And then he did everything possible to destroy, under the cover of your government, the one who is the largest private investor and patron of the Ukrainian army,” the deputy emphasized.

“In everything that is on today’s agenda, and what you are planning next, for some reason the army and energy are not a priority. Moreover, you are covering up the earnings of the Moscow Federation on oil transit. For some reason you cannot stop transit through the Druzhba oil pipeline and find 100500 reasons. And Moscow receives 7 billion dollars a year to kill our civilians and soldiers. By the way, 7 billion is a year’s supply of ‘Shaheds’ that strike our cities and towns,” Fedyna said.

“We ask to transfer funds to the brigades. We ask for an additional 100 billion for the needs of the army. You cannot press the button for this. At some point, you will face suspicion of high treason for the collapse of the Ukrainian state,” the People’s Deputy warned.
