🕯️ It was in this very church 164 years ago that Ukrainians bid farewell to Taras Shevchenko. Now, according to the minister, the shrine “has been freed from the parasitic presence of Moscow churchmen” and returned to the spiritual space of Ukraine.

🏛️ Tochytskyi emphasized that cleansing Ukrainian churches from the influence of structures associated with the aggressor country is a state priority, especially under the current ban on Moscow religious organizations.

⚠️ In this context, the minister also mentioned the dismissal of the general director of the National Reserve “Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra”, pointing to his insufficiently firm position on enforcing the law.

🔔 “There should be no Moscow spirit in the Lavra — this should have been the main task of the reserve’s director. However, after a year of work, despite the ministry’s support, the results have fallen far short,” Tochytskyi stressed.

🛡️ He assured that the Ministry of Culture will continue to act decisively to protect Ukrainian shrines from the influence of Moscow church representatives.
