“Three of them will operate as part of the 12th Army Corps, which protects the sky over Kyiv and repels Russian attacks. Two ‘Ai-Petri’ systems are going to the 241st Territorial Defense Brigade. And one more system, funded by the community of Haisyn, is being sent to our native 59th Brigade,” Poroshenko said.
He emphasized that “the Kremlin devil knows neither holidays nor pauses, so we have no right to rest either.”
“Even during these bright days, Russian missiles and ‘Shaheds’ continue to fly at Ukrainian cities. They target residential high-rise buildings and strike critical infrastructure facilities with a single goal: to kill and destroy Ukrainians. To thwart these plans, we are obliged to strengthen air defense,” the fifth President is convinced.
He noted that the team is currently working day and night, not wasting a single hour.
“We are doing everything possible to ensure that the frontline and our cities are covered by as many ‘Ai-Petri’ systems as possible. I hope that these systems will help protect critical infrastructure from enemy strikes and, most importantly, save the lives of Ukrainians,” Poroshenko writes.
It is worth noting that, starting from the fall of 2023, Petro Poroshenko invested over 200 million hryvnias in the production of the unique “Ai-Petri SV” counter-technical reconnaissance systems, which have successfully passed testing and are being used in the Armed Forces, covering a thousand kilometers of the frontline. The state had long not allocated funding for this program. In March 2025, Poroshenko announced a contract with the Ministry of Defense.
In total, since the beginning of the project, the troops have already received more than two and a half hundred units.
