As is known, the “European Solidarity” party is calling for the formation of a national unity coalition and a national salvation government, whose priorities should be funding the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Euro-integration reforms, and social support for vulnerable groups.

“All media outlets are full of reports about a deep parliamentary crisis in Ukraine. It’s much worse than that. This is not a crisis of parliament; it is a crisis of state governance. And the cause of this is not NABU or SAP, not the opposition, and not civil activists. The cause is corruption and total incompetence of the authorities,” Poroshenko stated.

“I would like to draw your attention to today’s agenda and the number of deputies present in this hall. The agenda requested by European Solidarity is to put Euro-integration reforms every day as part of the ‘Kachka-Kos plan.’ This includes the reboot of the State Bureau of Investigations, which the authorities fear but the European Union requires. This is the rule of law, the independence of the courts, the staffing of the Constitutional Court. They are not even close to this,” the fifth President noted.

He also reminded that “European Solidarity” at the beginning of the full-scale invasion initiated a bill on military service for Members of Parliament, but it has still not been adopted in the second reading.

“Not as a way to hold a deputy accountable by sending them to service, but as a voluntary right. In parliament, we in European Solidarity are twenty-six, and the twenty-seventh is Tanya Chornovol. We demand to give her the opportunity to both serve in the Armed Forces and be a deputy. For unclear reasons, this issue has not been put to a vote,” the party leader stated.

“The second step is cleansing the government, oversight bodies, and the President’s Office from those involved in the Mindich recordings,” Poroshenko urged.

“The next position is restoring parliament as an institution. Focus on critical bills. And when you talk about IMF bills, remove populism, remove ‘e-baks,’ remove the distribution of funds when buying votes,” Petro Poroshenko emphasized.
