🔄 Over eight months of the simplified mechanism for returning servicemen who left their units without permission for the first time, more than 29,000 people have returned to the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

🗣️ This was reported by the Director of the State Bureau of Investigations, Oleksiy Sukhachov, in a comment to Interfax-Ukraine.
⚖️ “The law and the special mechanism, which has been in effect from November 29, 2024, to August 2025, allowed over 29,000 soldiers who left their units without permission to return to service,” Sukhachov said.
🤝 The SBI director emphasized that this mechanism was developed jointly with the military law enforcement service, police, and prosecutor’s office, and it provides servicemen the opportunity to resume service, restore their provisions, and, by court decision, avoid criminal liability.
🎯 “This procedure allows those who committed unauthorized departure from their unit to return to military service in a simplified manner with restoration of monetary, food, clothing, and other support,” Sukhachov stressed.
