The NABU and SAP have completed the pre-trial investigation in the case of the leader of the parliamentary faction “Batkivshchyna,” Yulia Tymoshenko, on suspicion of offering improper benefits to Members of Parliament. This was reported by the anti-corruption authorities, without officially naming the individual involved.

According to the investigation, in December 2025, the suspect allegedly negotiated with certain deputies about rewards for loyal voting in the Verkhovna Rada. It involved creating a sustainable cooperation mechanism with advance payments.
The investigation believes that Members of Parliament were supposed to follow instructions regarding voting — to support or block decisions, abstain, or not participate in sessions.
In January 2026, the faction leader was notified of the suspicion. Currently, NABU detectives have opened the case materials to the defense for review.
