In Ukraine, the digitalization of processes related to mobilization continues. In particular, the government has introduced automatic deferment processing through the Reserve+ app.

How to apply for a deferment
The procedure is very simple: in the app, you need to click the three dots next to your full name and select the “Submit deferment request” option. The system automatically checks the data in state registers (Registry Office, Ministry of Education, Social Protection).
If the data matches, the status in the digital document changes to “Deferment granted” within a certain time. Repeated paper applications to the Territorial Recruitment Center or visits to the Administrative Services Center are no longer required.
Who can receive an automatic deferment extension:
- Persons with disabilities;
- Temporarily unfit for service;
- Parents of a child with a disability under 18;
- Parents of an adult child with a disability of Group I or II;
- Persons whose spouse has a disability of Group I or II;
- Persons whose parents have a disability of Group I or II;
- Women and men in the military with a child;
- Parents of three or more children in one marriage;
- Students and postgraduates;
- Employees of higher and vocational education institutions;
- Persons whose relatives were killed or went missing during hostilities or martial law;
- Relatives of Heroes of Ukraine posthumously honored for courage during the Revolution of Dignity;
- Persons deprived of liberty as a result of armed aggression against Ukraine;
- Military personnel released from captivity.
This innovation simplifies the process and significantly reduces the amount of paperwork for citizens who require a service deferment.
