⚡ Herasymov accused the Verkhovna Rada of ignoring the problems of the energy sector and the front

⚡ Герасимов звинуватив Верховну Раду в ігноруванні проблем енергетики і фронту

The co-chair of the European Solidarity faction, Artur Herasymov, said during a briefing following the conciliation council that the so-called mono-majority left only personnel issues on the agenda. According to him, there are no draft laws on financing the Armed Forces of Ukraine or addressing energy problems in the near plans.

“What happened today in parliament during the conciliation council once again underscored the complete inadequacy of the authorities in Ukraine. Look at what is happening at the front today — we need total unity in supporting the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Look at what is happening today in the apartments and homes of Kyiv residents, residents of Dnipro, Zaporizhzhia, and many other cities and towns where people are freezing. And so, today during the conciliation council, it was representatives of Zelensky’s team who removed from consideration all draft laws related to energy. They removed from consideration all draft laws related to supporting the army and instead put ‘rearranging the beds in a brothel.’ They put forward only personnel appointments, where the key thing for them is to change the head of the Security Service, Maliuk,” Herasymov stated.

“European Solidarity” was the only faction that voted categorically against such a parliamentary agenda. “We proposed that parliament deal with adequate issues, deal with helping people through the energy crisis, deal with resolving the energy crisis, and continue helping the army by adopting critically important draft laws that should have been adopted long ago,” the MP explained.

“But unfortunately, today the so-called mono-majority, which has no more than 170–180 deputies, crossed all this out and decided that the main thing to consider today is appointing ministers to positions with high salaries, large bonuses, and warm offices in ministries and agencies. And today the authorities once again showed that they don’t care about Ukrainians or the army,” Artur Herasymov said emotionally.
