💬 Poroshenko called Yaroslav a great son of Ukraine, a patriot, politician, and cultural figure. He emphasized that Rushchyshyn was always present during the most important moments in Ukrainian history — from the Revolution on Granite and the Orange Revolution to the Revolution of Dignity and the full-scale war with russia.
🎷 It was also noted that Yaroslav was an active educator, musician, and mentor to youth, nurturing a new generation through personal example and culture.
🤝 Poroshenko urged continuing Rushchyshyn’s work — to preserve Ukraine, democracy, and the movement toward a strong European state that he dreamed of.
The farewell ceremony took place in Lviv, in the heart of Galicia, marking the last goodbye to the well-known politician and patriot.
