🛡️ Additionally, the participants agreed on priorities for the procurement of weapons, military equipment, and necessary supplies within the coalition for 2025.
📊 “In the last quarter of 2023, procurement of material and technical resources amounted to €16.1 million. The budget for 2025 is planned at €130 million. As of February, the Central Project Management Agency has already accumulated €51 million,” said Ruslan Berehulya, head of the Anti-Mine Activities, Civil Protection, and Environmental Safety Department.
🚀 According to him, coalition members were interested in the experience of Ukraine’s Security and Defense Forces, accumulated during three years of large-scale war. In particular, under the initiative of Lithuania and Ukraine, working groups will be created to study the latest methods for servicing engineering barriers and innovations in de-mining, including the use of UAVs and artificial intelligence during non-technical surveys.
📜 Furthermore, Berehulya presented to the coalition’s leading countries the approved Ministry of Defense “Coalition Capability Roadmap for De-mining until 2035.”
