The administration of U.S. President Donald Trump is finalizing work on a new travel ban for citizens of specific nations. According to sources, authorities plan to create a “red list” of countries whose citizens will be banned from entering the U.S.

📌 The proposed “red list” primarily includes countries that were already subject to restrictions during Trump’s previous term. Previously banned nations included Cuba, Iran, Libya, North Korea, Somalia, Sudan, Syria, Venezuela, and Yemen. Preliminary reports suggest that Afghanistan may also be added to this list.
🟠 Additionally, a “orange list” is planned for countries whose citizens will face entry restrictions but not a total ban. Travelers from these nations will be required to undergo in-person interviews to obtain permission.
🟡 Countries placed on the “yellow list” will be given 60 days to address identified security concerns. If they fail to comply, they may be moved to the red or orange list.
❓ It remains unclear whether the new restrictions will affect individuals with valid U.S. visas or green card holders who already have permanent residency status in the United States.
