📍 In Ukraine, 8,881 people have started the process of joining the military through recruitment centers. Women make up 21%, or 1,830 individuals, of the total number of candidates for the Defense Forces, according to the Ministry of Defense press service.

📅 In February 2025, 5,341 people applied to recruitment centers. The highest activity was observed in the last week of the month. Since the centers began operating, specialists have provided consultations to 43,464 citizens.
📈 The number of people starting the recruitment process in February was 772. Over the entire period of operation of the centers, this number increased to 8,881 candidates.
👩🦰 “The share of women has increased: now it’s 21%, or 1,830 individuals, of the total number of candidates for the Defense Forces. The highest percentage of women applied in Vinnytsia (44%), Chernivtsi (43%), and Khmelnytskyi region (41%),” the press service informed.
🏢 In February, a new recruitment center was opened in Boryspil, Kyiv region. Thus, there are now 49 such centers operating across Ukraine.
📌 The Ministry of Defense reminded that recruitment centers do not distribute summons, and consultations are provided confidentially.
