📉 The new legislation imposes fines of up to 400,000 rubles (approximately $4,000) for individuals and up to 5 million rubles (approximately $50,000) for organizations promoting the refusal to have children.
🔴 This is part of broader measures aimed at addressing demographic issues, such as population aging and decline due to emigration and military losses.
🔍 According to British intelligence, these efforts are unlikely to stop Russia’s population decline in the near future, which poses a serious structural challenge to its economy and society.
