🔹 The electronic labor book (ETK), which replaces the traditional paper one, was introduced in Ukraine back in 2021 and allows labor information to be stored, checked, and updated online.
🔹 Advantages of the electronic labor book:
Simplification of work recordkeeping.
Reduction of paper usage, beneficial for the environment and businesses.
Protection of data from loss or damage.
Automation of pension appointment processes.
🔹 The transitional period will last until 2026. During this time, citizens can use either paper or electronic labor books. Starting in 2026, all records of labor activity will be made electronically.
🔹 The digitization of labor books involves submitting scanned copies of documents to the Pension Fund of Ukraine through the web portal. The digitization process includes labor books, education documents, birth certificates of children, and other supporting documents.
🔹 To check if your labor book has been digitized, log into your personal account on the Pension Fund of Ukraine portal and check the “Electronic Labor Book” section.
